To be eligible for the Annual Show, each artist must have paid their dues by or at the first meeting of the year and have attended a meeting in the last twelve months preceding the shows opening. Each artist may submit two paintings. Registration labels are to be filled out and applied on the upper right hand corner of the painting as you look at it from the rear. Completed registration forms must be submitted along with $10.00 judging fee for each painting when submitting work. All work must be new, original, executed without instruction (no workshop or art class paintings), and not previously shown in Monroe County area. No use of cutout materials will be accepted. No work copied from other material will be accepted. Artist must sign work. All work judged for the show will remain hanging for the entire show. Any paintings that are sold will be available for pick-up only after the show has ended. All work shall be ready to hang, properly framed, no larger than a 2 " wide frame (no scratched, marred or damaged frames or glass) and will be reviewed by the standards committee upon entry. For full sheet watercolor painting, please use 1/8 " Plexiglass. There is a 15 pound weight limit per painting. All works shall be aqueous media on paper, maximum size 32" by 40" framed. All work shall not exceed 100 united inches (determined by adding the width and the height together). For example if you have two paintings measuring 11" by 14" ... and 32" by 40" 11 + 14 +32 + 40 = 97 united inches.
